New Apple TV+ film has big Indiana Jones vibes, here’s the trailer

Apple TV+ has been on a hot streak with prestige shows, and it’s starting to find real success with movies too. The next Apple TV+ film, Fountain of Youth, looks set to continue that trend with its big stars and heavy Indiana Jones vibes. Here’s the trailer.

Fountain of Youth is a new action-adventure film coming next month

Fountain of Youth hails from director Guy Ritchie and stars John Krasinski and Natalie Portman in an Indiana Jones-style action-adventure.

The movie will be released directly on streaming, debuting Friday, May 23 on Apple TV+.

Per the film’s official summary, Krasinski and Portman play siblings who “partner on a global heist to find the mythological Fountain of Youth.”

The first trailer just arrived, and it looks like a ton of fun.

Apple TV+ movies hitting a winning streak

Apple’s last couple movies, The Gorge and Wolfs, proved very successful for the streamer.

They also represent a big shift Apple has taken with its film strategy. While the company used to give its films wide theatrical releases, those are now the exception rather than the norm.

The Brad Pitt-starring F1 this summer will be Apple’s one big theatrical swing for the foreseeable future, while films like Fountain of Youth—that look very much theater-worthy—will go straight to Apple TV+.
