Next Apple Watch fitness challenge set for June

On your mark, get set, go! Apple will mark Global Running Day in June for its next virtual Apple Watch fitness challenge.

Like last year, Apple is celebrating Global Running Day by encouraging Apple Watch customers to complete a 5K (3.1-mile) run with any app that records to Apple Health. Global Running Day falls on the first Wednesday in June, which happens to be June 4 this year.

Recording a 5K run workout will unlock the 2025 version of the Global Running Day Challenge trophy within the Fitness app as well as four animated stickers that can be used on iOS:
