Apple Fitness+ access now available for free through GLP-1 weight-loss program

Apple Fitness+ access is coming to another partner platform. FuturHealth, a personalized weight-loss service, announced today that it’s offering complimentary Apple Fitness+ access to all program members at no additional cost. Fitness+ provides guided workout sessions with tight Apple Watch integration

FuturHealth provides a subscription weight-loss program that offers “access to weight loss medication, our digital weight loss platform, ongoing guidance from clinicians and personalized nutrition plans” without requiring insurance. This includes popular GLP-1 drugs.

Members can access thousands of Fitness+ workouts and meditations directly through a dedicated module in the FuturHealth app.

“Our top priority has always been to help people on a weight loss journey experience real, long-lasting results through holistic lifestyle changes and personalized support,” said Luke Mahoney, FuturHealth’s co-founder and CEO. “With this Fitness+ offer, users can tap into thousands of workouts and meditations—wherever and whenever they choose—at no extra cost.”

For Apple, these partnerships continue expanding Fitness+ beyond direct consumer subscriptions while reinforcing the platform’s position in the broader health and wellness ecosystem. It’s a smart move that gets more people using Apple’s services while supporting meaningful health outcomes.

As a standalone subscription service, Apple Fitness+ costs $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year after a one month free trial. Membership is available for up to five people through Apple’s Family Sharing feature. Fitness+ is also included in the Apple One Premier bundle for $37.95 per month. The bundle also includes 2TB iCloud storage, Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, and Apple News+.
