Apple Arcade’s September lineup mixes NFL football, Jeopardy!, and fan-favorite updates

Apple Arcade is kicking off September with several new games and big updates, including an NFL tie-in just in time for football season.

Launching September 4, NFL Retro Bowl ’26 debuts exclusively on Apple Arcade with a new Championship Leaderboard mode. The NFL- and NFLPA-licensed title uses authentic rosters and stylized retro visuals while letting players represent their favorite team in weekly matchups synced with the 2025 NFL schedule. Wins and stats contribute to live leaderboard standings for ultimate bragging rights.

Also arriving September 4 is Jeopardy! Daily, featuring exclusive clues written by the TV show’s writers. Players type answers in the form of questions, tackle fresh boards each day, and compete in weekly tournaments to climb global leaderboards. The same day brings My Talking Tom Friends+, a premium, ad-free version of the hit virtual pet game with all the Talking Tom & Friends characters.

On September 18, Hello Kitty Island Adventure expands with Wheatflour Wonderland, a new area filled with grain fields, stained-glass castles, and mysterious ruins. The update introduces Cogimyun, who needs help unlocking the Ancient Citadel and uncovering treasure.

Apple Arcade is also rolling out notable updates this month to existing hits:

Apple Arcade now includes more than 200 ad-free games with no in-app purchases. Apple dropped its previous round of updates earlier this month. Apple Arcade costs just $6.99 per month for up to five users. The service is available part of Apple One.
