tvOS 26 beta 7 available now for Apple TV 4K

tvOS 26 beta 7 is rolling out now for developers, the latest Apple TV 4K beta release. Here’s what to expect.

Latest tvOS 26 beta is one of the last before public release

Apple has just released tvOS 26 beta 7 for developers.

The new update is expected to focus on performance and stability improvements, with noteworthy feature changes unlikely.

Beta software ultimately has the goal of helping create a solid upgrade experience for the wide public launch. And that launch is coming up fast.

Apple is expected to ship tvOS 26 to all users in about a month. As a result, there are likely only a couple beta releases left.

This is the time of year when Apple’s engineers prioritize stability and performance above all else.

The features that have been available in previous betas are unlikely to change much, if at all, in the final few beta releases.

Rather, the focus is on refining the update, based on data gathered from beta testers, so that when Apple ships tvOS 26 to all users, there will be minimal issues.
