Apple TV+ comedy Palm Royale gets season 2 release date

Apple TV+ has been having a strong year all around, but especially with comedies and sci-fi series. And the streamer just announced the release date for one of its most high-profile, star-studded comedy’s returns: Palm Royale season 2 is coming soon.

Palm Royale season 2 coming to Apple TV+ this November

Apple TV+ has its best-ever fall lineup of TV shows and movies coming, and it’s now added another debut.

Palm Royale season 2 will premiere Wednesday, November 12 on Apple TV+. Weekly episode releases will continue through January 14, 2026.

Palm Royale may not have the cameo game of fellow comedy The Studio, but the series packs a star-studded cast nonetheless.

Stars include:

  • Kristen Wiig
  • Laura Dern
  • Allison Janney
  • Leslie Bibb
  • Ricky Martin
  • Josh Lucas
  • Amber Chardae Robinson
  • Kaia Gerber
  • Carol Burnett

The show’s first season arrived in spring 2024 and, despite mixed critics’ reviews, became a bit of a sleeper hit for Apple. The wild antics of the characters and entertaining cast amounted to a fun watch.

Here’s Apple’s official summary for the show, followed by the season 1 trailer:

“Palm Royale” is a true underdog story that follows Maxine Dellacorte (Wiig) as she endeavors to find her footing in the cutthroat world of Palm Beach high society. As Maxine attempts to cross that impermeable line between the haves and the have-nots, “Palm Royale” asks the same question that still baffles us today: “How much of yourself are you willing to sacrifice to get what someone else has?” “Palm Royale” is a testament to every outsider fighting for their chance to truly belong.

In season two, Maxine is left a social pariah after a scandalous public breakdown. She’ll have to draw on her deep well of cleverness and cunning to prove once and for all that not only does she belong, but she just might have what it takes to rule this town. Along the way she will uncover untold truths and finally understand what this town is truly built on … secrets, lies and the occasional felony.

You can watch the entirety of Palm Royale season 1 here with an Apple TV+ subscription.

Apple TV+ is available for $9.99 per month and features hit TV shows and movies like Ted LassoSeveranceThe Morning ShowSilo, and Shrinking.
