Slow Horses season 5 is coming, and it looks better than ever

Apple TV+ is about to kick off its packed fall lineup, with two big returning series coming very soon—including Slow Horses season 5. Here’s a look at the new Slow Horses trailer, which makes season 5 look like it could be the best yet.

New trailer reveals compelling season 5 return for Slow Horses

Slow Horses has been one of the best series on Apple TV+ since its first season arrived in 2022. Critics and audiences alike have universally praised the show.

Apple has also been aggressive at green-lighting new seasons, making the series one of the most prolific in churning out new episodes.

Slow Horses season 5 premieres on Wednesday, September 24 with its first episode on Apple TV+. Weekly releases will continue through October 29.

Like every prior season, Slow Horses will return with a tight six-episode run based on another novel in Mick Herron‘s Slough House book series.

Apple has just released the official trailer for season 5, and somehow the series looks even better than ever. Here’s the season summary followed by the new trailer:

In season five of “Slow Horses,” everyone is suspicious when resident tech nerd Roddy Ho has a glamorous new girlfriend, but when a series of increasingly bizarre events occur across the city, it falls to the Slow Horses to work out how everything is connected. After all, Lamb knows that in the world of espionage, the London Rules — cover your back — always apply.

If you haven’t ever watched Slow Horses, binging four seasons might seem a tall task.

Fortunately though, since each season is only six episodes long, it’s a little easier to digest than you might think.

You can watch Slow Horses seasons 1-4 here on Apple TV+.
