Tonight has been a good night for “The Morning Show” fans. Not only is the first episode of season 4 now streaming, but Apple has also officially announced a season 5 renewal. Here’s what to expect.
The Morning Show is one of the longest-running Apple TV+ series. It debuted on November 1, 2019, alongside other high-profile shows such as For All Mankind, See, Snoopy in Space, and Dickinson.
Tonight, The Morning Show returns for its highly anticipated season 4, with strong reinforcements to its stellar cast, including Aaron Pierre (The Underground Railroad), William Jackson Harper (The Good Place), Boyd Holbrook (A Complete Unknown), Marion Cotillard (La Vie En Rose), and Jeremy Irons (Assassin’s Creed).
Here’s what to expect from the new season, according to Apple:
“[S]eason four of “The Morning Show” opens in spring 2024, almost two years after the events of season three. With the UBA-NBN merger complete, the newsroom must grapple with newfound responsibility, hidden motives and the elusive nature of truth in a polarized America. In a world rife with deepfakes, conspiracy theories and corporate cover-ups — who can you trust? And how can you know what’s actually real?”

Season 5 is a go
Just hours ahead of the season 4 premiere, Apple announced that it has already renewed The Morning Show for season 5.
The early renewal signals Apple’s confidence that the star-studded drama will continue its strong run, with Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston leading the cast alongside Jon Hamm (Mad Men) and Billy Crudup (Almost Famous), who won Apple TV+ its first Emmy in 2020 and repeated the feat in 2024.
Beyond tonight’s timely announcement, no other details about season 5 have been revealed.
