Apple has released a new version of iOS 26 that’s exclusive to its new iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max arriving in users’ hands tomorrow. Here’s what you should know.

iOS 26 launched to all users earlier this week, but it seems Apple has a slightly revised build ready for its flagship iPhone 17 lineup.

Apple’s software update servers have just debuted a new build of iOS 26.0. And it appears to be exclusive to the forthcoming iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max.

  • The new software carries build number 23A345
  • iOS 26’s launch build from earlier this week was 23A341

It is currently unknown why Apple has a new build of iOS 26 ready for its latest iPhones.

Don’t expect any new features in this revised version, rather bug fixes are the only likely changes.

Apple did previously say that a forthcoming software update would fix a “very rare” camera bug in iOS 26 for its iPhone 17 lineup. It’s possible this new build includes that fix.

We’ll keep you posted on any updates we hear from Apple about the new iOS 26 build.

Separately, there is evidence that iOS 26.0.1 may be coming very soon, but when it does launch it will likely be for all iPhones.
