iOS 26.0.1 fixes these iPhone 17 and iPhone Air bugs

As expected, Apple has released iOS 26.0.1 for iPhone users with a handful of important bug fixes. Most notably, Apple says the update fixes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth problems that were impacting some iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone Air users.

As we reported last week, some iPhone 17 and iPhone Air users took to social media to complain of unreliable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi problems. Those users said their phones were randomly disconnecting from Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, leading to other problems with accessories like the Apple Watch as well as CarPlay reliability.

Apple says that iOS 26.0.1 should address those problems. In the release notes for the update, the company says iOS 26.0.1 addresses an issue where “Wi-Fi and Bluetooth may occasionally disconnect on iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro models.” The update also fixes an issue where some iPhone users were “unable to connect to a cellular network after updating to iOS 26.”

iOS 26.0.1 also fixes a camera bug where “photos taken under certain lighting conditions with iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro models may include unexpected artifacts.” This was first spotted by Henry Casey in his iPhone 17 review earlier this month.

The update also fixes bugs with app icon tinting and VoiceOver. You can read the full release notes for iOS 26.0.1 here. Have you experienced any problems with iOS 26 so far? Let us know down in the comments.
