Apple fixes Apple Intelligence bug affecting iPhone 17 and iPhone Air

According to Aaron Perris, Apple has now rolled out a server-side fix for iPhone 17 and iPhone Air that were unable to download Apple Intelligence models.

This update comes after some iPhone 17 users were completely unable to use Apple Intelligence features since the devices were released almost three weeks ago.

If you were affected by this problem, there’s nothing you need to do. The update should automatically download in the background. You can check the status of Apple Intelligence on your iPhone by going to the Settings app and navigating to the Apple Intelligence menu.

Apple hasn’t shed any additional light on what the problem here actually was. It’s certainly perplexing that iPhone 17 users couldn’t access the entire suite of Apple Intelligence features, and it took Apple so long to roll out a fix. Nonetheless, at least that fix has finally arrived.
