New Apple TV 4K launch and more might be imminent per store inventory

Mark Gurman at Bloomberg reported over the weekend that Apple is likely to launch three new M5 products this week—which Apple has just officially teased. Now it seems that new Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini updates might be imminent too.

Two Apple Home products now seem likely to launch any day now

Apple’s lineup of launches rumored for October has recently included six products:

  • M5 iPad Pro
  • Vision Pro 2
  • New Apple TV 4K
  • HomePod mini 2
  • AirTag 2
  • M5 MacBook Pro, the most recently rumored addition

This past weekend, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said that Apple intends to start launching some of these new products “this week.”

Gurman mentioned the M5 iPad Pro, M5 MacBook Pro, and new Vision Pro as the three likely launches.

He confirmed that a new Apple TV 4K, HomePod mini 2, and AirTag are in the works too, but didn’t necessarily expect them this week.

That seems to have changed—at least for Apple’s Home products. Per Gurman’s new posts on X:

Based on reduced inventory of the existing Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini at Apple Stores, it seems those launches might be imminent too.
