Palm Royale season 2 trailer arrives ahead of coming premiere

Out of all the comedies on Apple TV—besides cameo-laden The Studio—it’s hard to find another show as packed with stars as Palm Royale.

The show’s first season (available here) aired last year and picked up 11 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series. For the upcoming season, the strong ensemble is back and growing. Stars include:

  • Kristen Wiig
  • Laura Dern
  • Allison Janney
  • Ricky Martin
  • Carol Burnett
  • Josh Lucas
  • John Stamos
  • Patti LuPone
  • and more

Palm Royale season 2 premieres Wednesday, November 12 on Apple TV with its first episode, followed by weekly releases through January 14.

Here’s Apple’s spoiler-free series summary, followed by the new trailer:

“Palm Royale” is a true underdog story that follows Maxine Dellacorte (Wiig) as she endeavors to find her footing in the cut throat world of Palm Beach high society. As Maxine attempts to cross that impermeable line between the haves and the have-nots, “Palm Royale” asks the same question that still baffles us today: “How much of yourself are you willing to sacrifice to get what someone else has?” “Palm Royale” is a testament to every outsider fighting for their chance to truly belong.

You can watch all of Palm Royale season 1 here on Apple TV. There are 10 episodes total, all running just under an hour each.
