iPadOS 26.2 beta 2 available now, here’s what to expect

Apple has just released iPadOS 26.2 developer beta 2, which arrives about one week after developers received access to the first beta version. Here’s what’s new so far.

iPadOS 26.2’s new features so far

iPadOS 26.2 is the next major software update coming for iPad. And so far based on the first beta, it looks like a feature-rich release.

Last week’s iPadOS 26.2 beta 1 included the following new features:

Today’s update is expected to include even more changes, since we’re still early in the beta cycle.

Apple typically introduces new features and updates in the first few betas for a software version, then focuses on stability and performance with later betas.

If you’re running the developer beta, you should see iPadOS 26.2 beta 2 inside Settings ⇾ General ⇾ Software Update on your iPad.

Public beta users don’t have anything new to install today, but Apple will likely ship public beta 2 within the next day or so.
