Apple releases free chapter from ‘Pluribus’ author Carol’s novel

Pluribus is Apple TV’s latest must-watch new series, and fans will appreciate that Apple Books just released a free chapter from lead character Carol’s hit romantasy book, Bloodsong of Wycaro.

Bloodsong of Wycaro excerpt now available on Apple Books

If you’re watching Pluribus, you know that Rhea Seehorn plays the lead character, Carol Sturka. And Carol is an author who writes wildly popular romantasy novels.

What you might not have seen coming is that you can read a free chapter from one of Carol’s (fictional) books now.

Apple Books has just released an “exclusive excerpt” from Carol’s latest novel: Bloodsong of Wycaro.

You can download the free excerpt here on Apple Books.

Here’s Apple’s description:

Ahoy, lucky readers… the winds of Wycaro blow once again! Bestselling author Carol Sturka gifts readers an exclusive excerpt from the newly released fourth book in her epic romantasy trilogy. This book contains a full chapter of the novel Bloodsong of Wycaro, along with a special letter from Carol.

Take sail with Lucasia, Captain of the duneship Mercator, as she traverses the amaranthine sands of Wycaro seeking a cure for the insidious illness felling her crew. As Lucasia navigates a treacherous storm, she is haunted by memories of Raban, the rogue who stole her heart before walking the plank. Seething with passions which cry for release, she soon learns the only thing worse than finding yourself alone in the dark…is discovering you’re not alone.

Apple TV has definitely taken a step up with its marketing for Pluribus, offering a fun and unique marketing campaign that best resembles what the streamer did for Severance season 2.

Pluribus currently has three episodes available on Apple TV, with new episodes continuing weekly through December 26.

What do you think of Carol’s book from Pluribus based on the excerpt? Let us know in the comments.

Apple TV is available for $12.99 per month and features hit TV shows and movies like Ted LassoSeverance, and Pluribus. You can also get it through Apple One for $19.99.
