Spotify Wrapped 2025: When will it launch?

The most exciting time of the year for Spotify fans is fast approaching. Spotify Wrapped is set to launch within the next several weeks, giving listeners a breakdown of their top songs, artists, albums, and more.

What is Spotify Wrapped?

Spotify Wrapped is Spotify’s incredibly popular year-in-review recap feature for subscribers. It offers you an in-depth look at things like your total listening time, your top artists and songs, and much more.

For example, you can see if you were a top listener of a specific artist. It also tracks things like listening streaks, includes built-in messages from the top artists, and creates musical phases that define your year.

Spotify Wrapped 2025 launch date

Historically, Spotify has launched in the last week of November or the first week of December.

  • 2024: December 4
  • 2023: November 29
  • 2022: November 30
  • 2021: December 1
  • 2020: December 1
  • 2019: December 5

This is a pretty consistent release schedule. Spotify Wrapped 2025 will likely launch in the first few days of December.

Spotify recently made a change to how it tracks your listening for Spotify Wrapped. Previously, Spotify Wrapped stopped counting data on October 31. Last year, however, Spotify said that Spotify Wrapped would keep tracking into November. This gives you a couple of more weeks to try and manipulate your Wrapped data.

Apple Music Replay

Apple Music users, meanwhile, get access to Apple Music Replay on a year-round basis. If you’re a Spotify user looking to make that switch, you can subscribe to Apple Music for $10.99 per month — which is actually $1 cheaper than Spotify.

What do you think will be at the top of your Spotify Wrapped this year? What surprises do you hope Spotify has in store? Let us know down in the comments. We’ll have full coverage of Spotify Wrapped’s launch in the coming weeks.
