Apple’s Black Friday deal stacks very nicely with these Apple Card perks

Apple unveiled its Black Friday 2025 deal earlier this week, with an offer of free gift cards up to $250 each for buying certain products. If you plan to shop at Apple on Black Friday, there are two perks of using Apple Card you should absolutely keep in mind.

When it comes to Black Friday deals, Apple tends to take a different approach than most retailers. Rather than offering steep discounts like competitors, Apple keeps its standard pricing for products but throws in free gift cards.

The maximum gift card value per product is $250. You can get a $250 gift card for select Macs, while iPads net up to $100, iPhones and AirPods $75, and so on. Full details are here.

Apple’s deals run Friday, November 28 through Monday, December 1.

If you’re planning to shop at Apple, there are two Apple Card perks you should be aware of:

  1. Apple Card Monthly Installments
  2. 3% Daily Cash back

From Apple’s website:

Now when you shop at Apple, you can use Apple Card to pay monthly at 0% APR when you choose Apple Card Monthly Installments as your payment option at checkout. And you’ll get 3% Daily Cash back on the Apple products you love – all up front.

I use Apple Card Monthly Installments all the time for my Apple purchases. It’s quick and easy, with zero interest charge, and the iPhone’s Wallet app offers a convenient way to track future payments.

Plus, Apple Card always provides 3% Daily Cash on purchases at Apple, and when you choose the installment option, that full Daily Cash amount is given to you immediately—no waiting until payments are made.

So if you want to buy directly from Apple during its Black Friday special, Apple Card will ultimately get you the best deal.

That said, you may be better off going with Amazon or another retailer depending on what’s on your list.

For example, right now AirPods Pro 3 are $219 (down from $249), the latest iPad is $279 (down from $349), iPad Air with M3 is only $449 (down from $599), and AirPods 4 now start at just $79 (down from $129).
