Apple Music Replay launched its annual recap today, and alongside that personalized summary of the year’s activity, Apple has also revealed the most played songs of the year globally, and a lot more.

Apple launches top 100 playlists for global listening, most-read lyrics, and more

It’s the time of year when we all get to see and share our music listening habits. And today alongside the launch of Apple Music Replay 2025, Apple has revealed the most played songs across the whole world.

Here are the global top five most popular Apple Music songs this year:

  1. ROSÉ & Bruno Mars, “APT.”
  2. Kendrick Lamar & SZA, “luther”
  3. Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars, “Die With A Smile”
  4. Kendrick Lamar, “Not Like Us”
  5. Billie Eilish, “BIRDS OF A FEATHER”

You can find a full list of the top 100 most popular songs on Apple Music via this dedicated playlist.

Note: Apple’s end-of-year charts track plays from November 1, 2024 through October 31, 2025. So for example, Taylor Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl” had less than a month of availability during that window.

Inside the Apple Music app, you’ll find top 100 playlists for the USA and other regions, plus top 100 Shazam, the top 100 most-read lyrics, and more.

Apple has also shared some fun tidbits from the year’s listening, such as that KPop Demon Hunters’s “Golden” spent 70 consecutive days at #1 on the Daily Top 100—the most total days any song was in the top spot. Also, Morgan Wallen has 12 songs in the Top 100—more than any other artist—led by “I’m The Problem” at #18. It’s much higher at #4 on the USA charts.

Apple Music is available for $10.99/month for individuals, or you can get it as part of the Apple One bundle.
