This cute $50 case makes your M4 Mac mini look like a Mac Pro

Buying a Mac Pro makes absolutely no sense at the moment given that the Mac Studio is more powerful while also being substantially cheaper.

But if you secretly lust after one anyway, then a cute $50 case can make an M4 Mac Mini look just like a miniature Mac Pro – with a couple of practical benefits thrown in …

Macworld spotted the Ulanzi QT01 Mac Mini Case, describing it as “one of the coolest and cutest things we’ve ever seen.”

It hides your M4 Mac mini in a gorgeous metal case that looks just like a mini Mac Pro with a cheese-grater front, rear-facing ports, and tiny feet. (Sorry, it doesn’t come with wheels.) The Ulanzi QT01 mount rack for the 2024 Mac mini is one of the coolest and cutest things we’ve ever seen. It even has a magnetic front plate that can be removed if you need to access the front-facing USB-C ports.

As someone who thinks that both original and new Mac Pro machines are among the very best Apple designs ever seen, I’d have to agree. Buyers seem impressed too, stating that it also saves desk space, keeps the machine cool, and makes it easier to access the power button.

“Really nice case for the Mac mini! The ULANZI QT01 feels premium with its solid aluminum build and sleek design. Fits my 2024 Mac mini perfectly and helps keep things cool and protected. Great mix of style and function!”

“These case look awesome and it easy to insert the Mac Mini M4 into it. The power button overcomes the need to lift the MMM4 to turn it off. All connections are easy to reach with critical ones always available and the front auxiliary ones made available by removing a magnetic face plate.”

“The fit and finish on this case was shockingly good. I expected something kinda cheap but would look the part. This was way way nicer than I expected. I use my mini mostly as a home server and this case helped as I wanted to have the device held vertically in the cabinet it’ll live in. Worth it for all M4 mini owners.”

You can order it now on Amazon. If you need an M4 Mac mini to put inside it, that’s available from Apple’s official Amazon store.
