Jon Hamm’s ‘Coop’ meets new foe in Your Friends & Neighbors season 2 trailer

In a surprisingly quick turnaround for an Apple TV series, Your Friends & Neighbors is coming back soon.

Your Friends & Neighbors season 2 premieres Friday, April 3 with its first episode, followed by weekly releases through June 5.

That’s only about a 10-month gap between the season 1 finale and season 2 premiere. And season 3 is already on the way too.

The full trailer for season 2 was just released, and it shows what to expect from Jon Hamm’s character Coop’s new foe this season: a new neighbor played by James Marsden.

You can watch the trailer below, which contains some spoilers:

If you haven’t seen the first season, you can watch Your Friends & Neighbors here on Apple TV.

Creator and showrunner Jonathan Tropper has explained his philosophy for the new season by comparing it to Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.

I always treat second seasons like ‘The Empire Strikes Back.’ Things have to get darker, deeper, more complex and the stakes have to just get bigger for everybody, and that’s kind of what we’re working on.
