Apple adds Steve Lemay and Molly Anderson to its leadership page

Apple has updated its leadership page to reflect several recent changes to its executive team. Here’s what changed.

Two changes, three additions

Towards the end of last year, Apple announced that Lisa Jackson, the company’s Vice President of Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives, would soon retire. As a result, her organization would transition to then-Senior Vice President and General Counsel Katherine Adams, ahead of her own retirement towards the end of 2026.

On the same announcement, Apple said that Jennifer Newstead, an ex-legal adviser to the U.S. Department of State and, most recently, Meta’s chief legal officer, would become the company’s General Counsel on March 1, 2026.

Today, Apple updated its leadership page to list Adams as Senior Vice President of Government Affairs, and added Newstead as Senior Vice President and General Counsel.

In addition, Apple changed Eddy Cue’s title to Senior Vice President of Services and Health. This change is a result of Apple’s decision to fold health and fitness into its services division, as part of a broader leadership reshuffle following Jeff Williams’s retirement as COO last year.

Apple also added Steve Lemay as Vice President of Human Interface Design, and Molly Anderson as Vice President of Industrial Design.

Lemay was appointed to the role late last year, when Apple announced that Alan Dye (who never made it to Apple’s leadership page) would leave his post as Vice President of Human Interface Design to join Meta, while Anderson had already been leading the company’s industrial design team since 2024.
