Apple Stores welcome the MacBook Neo, with in-store pickup available today

The MacBook Neo officially goes on sale today, and Apple Stores appear to be going all-in on welcoming the latest member of the Mac family.

The first owners are now taking delivery of their machines, but even if you haven’t pre-ordered yours, it looks like you have a good shot at getting one for same-day pickup from your local Apple Store …

It’s a week since pre-orders opened for the MacBook Neo and those orders are now shipping. Those who got in early enough are receiving their machines today.

Although delivery dates for some configurations started slipping a couple of days after pre-orders opened, when I checked a random sampling of colors and configurations, I was able to find in-store pickup available today at all eight London Apple Stores for each one of them. This included the seemingly popular Blush color.

Parker Ortolani got a preview of a store makeover in progress to welcome the new machine. Apple usually covers the windows while it does these kind of updates, but this seems to have been forgotten as he walked past in the early hours.

Have you ordered yours or are you planning to do so? Please let us know in the comments.
