Apple launches new ‘Hello Apple’ Instagram account

Apple has just started a new @helloapple account on Instagram, joining its existing @apple account. Here are the details.

New @helloapple Instagram handle says it’s for ‘Our stories, and yours’

Apple isn’t new to Instagram, but the company has officially decided to expand its reach.

Joining the @apple account that currently has 36.2 million followers, a brand new @helloapple handle has recently been opened.

The new ‘Hello Apple’ account currently has just six posts, all of which started appearing today. They range from a reel showing various Apple logo designs to a MacBook Neo promo, a repost of an Apple TV-F1 video, and more.

You can follow Apple’s new @helloapple account here on Instagram.

The bio for the account reads simply:

Our stories, and yours.

Based on the early posts, it seems like this account will be a place Apple shares posts that are less ‘corporate’ and more fun and Gen Z-focused.

The company has recently been killing it on TikTok with its clever MacBook Neo promos there (as seen above). So perhaps this Hello Apple account will be an Instagram-focused extension of that strategy.

What do you think of Apple’s new Instagram account so far? Does having two main accounts make sense to you, or do you think everything should stay unified? Let us know in the comments.
