tvOS 26 beta 4 is now available for developers on both Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD. Here’s what to expect from the latest beta.

tvOS 26 beta 4 rolling out to developers

Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD users running the developer beta have a new update to install today.

tvOS 26 beta 4 is rolling out now, two weeks after its predecessor.

Highlights of tvOS 26 include:

Today we’ll likely see further refinements to Liquid Glass and tvOS 26’s other new features.

There’s still plenty of time at this point in the summer for Apple to iterate in its new software with feedback-informed changes before the wide launch this fall.

Beta 4 will also hopefully offer improved stability, as it’s expected to be released as the first tvOS 26 public beta soon as early as this week.

Then following that public beta launch and beta 5’s expected arrival in early August, Apple will likely shift to focusing primarily on bug fixes and stability. We may start seeing betas debut more frequently than the current biweekly pattern, too.
