Here’s everything new Apple Arcade has coming in October

Apple Arcade adds new games for subscribers every month, and Apple just announced that there are four new titles coming in October, including NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition.

Apple Arcade users recently gained two new games, NFL Retro Bowl ’26 and Jeopardy! Daily, but the lineup of October releases shows more on the way soon.

On October 2, Arcade is adding three new games:

But the bigger highlight of the month arrives a couple weeks later.

On Thursday, October 16, users can play NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition with a brand new NBA Eras feature.

“Working on NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition has been an absolute blast, and we’re thrilled to unveil our latest feature, NBA Eras,” said Rebecca Chan, Visual Concepts’ general manager. “Starting with the legendary Larry Bird vs. Magic Johnson era, players can relive decades of drafts, championships, and create some epic highlight tapes with the GOATs.”

Although Apple Arcade is still home to a bunch of great indie titles, games based on big IP have become more the norm for the subscription service lately. You can read more here on the service’s shifting trends.
