AT&T is raising prices on all of its home internet plans, the company confirmed to The Verge. Here are the full details on who’s impacted, and how much monthly prices are going up.
AT&T is raising internet costs by $5/month for all its plans
Starting December 1, 2025, AT&T home internet users will see an increase in their monthly charge.
All home internet plans are going up by $5/month.
Sean Hollister reports at The Verge that he received an email notifying him of the upcoming increase, and reached out to AT&T.
The company then provided confirmation that the increase is widespread: “the new price increase will apply to all AT&T Internet plans.”

Interesting. I just signed up for AT&T Fiber for $65 a month about 2 weeks ago and was told my price will stay the same as long as I keep the account active. Guess we're gonna find out.
AT&T spokesperson Jim Kimberly offered this statement:
As we work to meet the evolving needs of our business and manage increasing operational costs, we’re adjusting our internet plan rates to help maintain the high-quality service our customers expect.
If you’ve signed up within the last year, you get a pass this time around. But most likely, you won’t have to wait too long for another round of increases.
As Hollister reports, AT&T has actually been consistent at bumping its monthly prices by $5 every year for the last couple years—at least for some users.
