AI chatbots have become a go-to source for many users’ health and fitness questions, and a new leak reveals that ChatGPT might soon be able to integrate your Apple Health data to guide its answers.
ChatGPT app for iPhone looks likely to launch Apple Health integration
Joe Rossignol writes at MacRumors:
The latest version of the ChatGPT app for the iPhone contains a new image of the Apple Health icon hidden within the app’s code. The image’s file name suggests that it will be possible to connect the Apple Health app to ChatGPT, so that you can receive more personalized and useful answers based on your health and fitness data.
The image shows that ChatGPT would be able to tap into several Apple Health categories related to your activity, sleep, diet, breathing, and hearing.
This leaked image was uncovered by Aaron Perris, though it’s no guarantee that the Apple Health integration will ever officially launch.

That said, the existence of this image inside ChatGPT’s code strongly suggests we could see Health app support coming soon.
Inside ChatGPT’s current selection of available ‘Apps & connectors’ you can already connect the AI app to Peloton. But other health-focused options are minimal.
However, since January is around the corner and many users will pursue improved health as a new year’s resolution, it’s likely that Apple Health and other related partners will be added to ChatGPT before then.
