While Apple doesn’t typically mention support for new cellular bands or smaller LTE advancements, it has seemingly been confirmed (via Twitter) that the iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, and likely iPhone XR will all have support for HPUE.

Update: Apple is also no longer including the headphone adapter with iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 purchases.
With the launch of the iPhone XS and iPhone XR, Apple will no longer include the Lightning to 3.5mm headphone adapter in the iPhone box. Further, Apple is continuing to include a 5W power adapter and Lightning to USB-A, as opposed to USB-C, and made no mention fo AirPower.
Apple has announced its next-generation iPhone XR, one of its three 2018 flagship iPhones. The iPhone XR is lower-cost than the iPhone XS whilst retaining the slim bezel, notched screen with Face ID and gestural navigation. Available in 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB, starting at $749.
