Following this morning’s introduction of the Apple Watch Series 4, Apple has updated its Design Resources page with new assets for developers and designers. The revised templates reflect changes made to optimize watchOS for new, larger displays. Additionally, Apple has published new Tech Talks on its Developer Videos page that offer best practices when building applications for the Apple Watch Series 4 and new iPhones.

Apple outlines how developers can prepare for iOS 12, macOS Mojave & iPhone Xs/XR

In an update on the developer portal today, Apple has started encouraging developers to update their apps for the new iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, and iPhone XR. The company is also pushing Mac developers to submit their apps to the all-new App Store coming with macOS Mojave, and to the iOS App Store with iOS 12 features.

iPhone XS & XR: 5W adapter + USB-A, no more 3.5mm headphone adapter, no AirPower updates

Update: Apple is also no longer including the headphone adapter with iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 purchases.

With the launch of the iPhone XS and iPhone XR, Apple will no longer include the Lightning to 3.5mm headphone adapter in the iPhone box. Further, Apple is continuing to include a 5W power adapter and Lightning to USB-A, as opposed to USB-C, and made no mention fo AirPower.

Apple announces 6.1-inch iPhone XR in several colorful finishes, new A12 Bionic chip and faster Face ID

Apple has announced its next-generation iPhone XR, one of its three 2018 flagship iPhones. The iPhone XR is lower-cost than the iPhone XS whilst retaining the slim bezel, notched screen with Face ID and gestural navigation. Available in 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB, starting at $749.

The iPhone XR has a bigger LCD display than the iPhone 8 Plus, Apple is calling it ‘Liquid Retina’ — although it is not as waterproof as iPhone Xs. iPhone XR offers an hour and a half more battery than the iPhone 8 Plus.

6.1-inch iPhone is called ‘iPhone Xr’ — will be available in black, white, red, yellow, coral and blue colors

The sitemap leak is turning up a goldmine of info. The 6.1-inch iPhone will indeed be called iPhone Xr, and it will be offered in six colors: black, white, red, yellow, coral and blue.

The URLs confirm it will have a 6.1-inch display and offered in three storage options; 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB.
