Following the introduction of the iPhone Xs earlier today, Apple has shared a video on its YouTube channel highlighting video shot with the device. Apple touts that this video offers a first-look at how water, fire, metal, and light were used to capture these stunning videos.
[Update: Even though the Xs and X share same dimensions, the company is waiting to test their Battery Photo Case with iPhone Xs as part of the MFi certification process. Once that is complete they will let customers know if the case is officially compatible.]
Moment has released its Battery Photo Case for iPhone X that includes a variety of notable features. In addition to seamless compatibility with the company’s high-quality lenses, it’s the first MFi battery case for X, features a Lightning port, wireless charging, two-stage shutter button, and more.
The iPhone X and iPhone 8 were the first iPhones to support wireless charging. The devices launched with support for 5W wireless charging, with a later iOS update bringing support for 7.5W.

In an update on the developer portal today, Apple has started encouraging developers to update their apps for the new iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, and iPhone XR. The company is also pushing Mac developers to submit their apps to the all-new App Store coming with macOS Mojave, and to the iOS App Store with iOS 12 features.

Now that the iPhone Xs and Apple Watch Series 4 have officially been announced, we can dive deeper into the specifications of each, as well as the changes compared to the iPhone X and Apple Watch Series 3.
For both the iPhone Xs and Apple Watch Series 4, Apple briefly mentioned battery life – but looking closer, there are a few changes worth noting.
Alongside releasing its new iPhone Xs, Xs Max and XR, Apple has updated is AppleCare+ protection plan. For an additional cost, customers can now opt for lost and stolen coverage. Apple has also introduced monthly payment options for both the standard and new AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss plan.
Apple’s reveal videos are perhaps just as famous for their music selection as they are for stunning visuals and artful product shots. This year’s keynote at Steve Jobs Theater followed suit and featured a wide selection of new and old catchy songs. With the launch of the iPhone XS and iPhone XR, Apple will no longer include the Lightning to 3.5mm headphone adapter in the iPhone box. Further, Apple is continuing to include a 5W power adapter and Lightning to USB-A, as opposed to USB-C, and made no mention fo AirPower.
Despite what some expected, the iPhone XS isn’t any cheaper than the iPhone X – which means the iPhone XS Max now takes the crown as the most expensive iPhone ever. The iPhone XS starts at $999, while the iPhone XS Max starts at $1,099 for 64GB – but things get even more expensive when you start upgrading that storage.
