A pair of recent reports indicate that this year could bring the first iPhones to offer Apple Pencil support. After the $329 2018 iPad was updated to work with the $99 accessory earlier this year, is this something you’d find useful on the 2018 5.8-inch or 6.5-inch iPhones?
We heard news this week that Apple could bring three storage tiers to the 5.8- and 6.5-inch iPhones this year, with the top end offering 512GB. While we’ve heard that the base price of the OLED models could drop this year, the addition of an iPhone X Plus along with three storage tiers could definitely boost the devices’ average selling price. This evening, Apple officially released the first public beta of iOS 12 after three weeks of developer testing. This means anyone can download and install the latest iOS version on their iPhone and iPad for free, though it’s still in beta form and does come with some bugs and annoyances.
