It’s been a month since the official launch of Threads, Meta’s new microblogging social network. Since then, the platform has been getting numerous updates with new features like built-in translation and a chronological feed that only shows content from accounts you follow. And soon, Threads will get a web version and advanced search.

Meta launched its Threads competitor to Twitter X three weeks ago, and the company is now addressing one of the most common complaints of the early version of the app. Starting today, Mark Zuckerberg says that Threads is now rolling out a chronological “Following” feed to the app.

It’s been two weeks since Meta launched Threads, its new microblogging social network. And while version 1.0 was a pretty solid release, it lacked a lot of features that users had been asking for. Threads is now getting a major update with important new features, which includes built-in translation and a new Follows tab.

What’s one so-called “tech hot takes” held by Instagram’s top boss, Adam Mosseri? “Android’s now better than iOS.” Mosseri’s comment was made on Threads this weekend in response to a question posed by MKBHD, and it naturally has us wondering about how his personal preferences influence Instagram and Threads product roadmaps.
